Sleigh Rides
When the snow hits the ground the 1800 pound Belgian draft horses are itching to get in on the action at Karefree Ranch. Imagine a fun-filled sleigh ride behind these majestic horses as you enjoy your own snacks and hot beverages along the way. Sing Christmas carols and just draw in the clean and refreshing winter air in beautiful Northern Michigan.
Wintertime brings a different kind of fun to the ranch. The saddle horses get the winter off and the big Belgian draft horses come out to play.
From December thru February we offer horse drawn wagon and sleigh rides on a regular basis.
Take a 30 minute ride behind a beautiful team of 1800# horses and listen to the sleighbells as you enjoy the snowcovered landscape while gliding through open fields and wooded trails.

Bring you own beverages and snacks to enjoy after your ride while you warm up around the bonfire at the ranch picnic area.
Rides are available by reservation only. Please call 989-848-5771 to book your ride, then dig out those warm winter clothes and join us for some outdoor fun.
